FAQ - Intelligent Signage*

General Questions

What does Xathari Intelligent Signage allow me to show on my screens?

Xathari Intelligent Signage supports a wide range of media types, including:

  • Images
  • Videos
  • Documents (PDF, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Web pages
  • HTML apps/widgets
  • Live streams (where supported)

You can combine these into:

  • Playlists
  • Layouts (multi‑zone screen compositions)
  • Scheduled content blocks

The platform is designed for flexible, professional digital signage deployments across any number of screens.

‍

Why shouldn’t I just use the USB media player on my TV?

USB playback is fine for simple home use — but it breaks down quickly in business environments.
Typical issues include:

  • Playback stops when the TV powers off
  • No remote updates
  • No scheduling
  • No multi‑zone layouts
  • No monitoring or device health
  • No automation after power failures

Xathari Intelligent Signage solves all of this by providing:

  • Remote content updates
  • Automatic playback recovery
  • Power scheduling
  • Multi‑zone layouts
  • Centralized management for 1 or 10,000 screens

It’s built for reliability, automation, and scale.

‍

What are the requirements for using Xathari Intelligent Signage?

You need:

  1. Internet access (for managing content and syncing devices)
